Method 01: Adding a Footer to the Default Table Block
Create a table first with the default Gutenberg Table block. Once the table is ready, place your cursor on any of its cells. This will select the table and open a sidebar on the right side.
Toggle on the Footer Section under the Settings tab.
You’ll see the footer section is enabled. Add your desired label/content to the footer cells.
You can see that we have added some text to the footer cells and made them bold. You may add links to these texts as well if you want.
Method 2: Adding a Footer to the Tableberg Block
The Tableberg plugin also allows you to add a footer to the table. Hope you know how to create a table with Tableberg.
After your table is ready, select it by clicking the Tableberg icon (1) on the top toolbar. And toggle on the Insert Footer (2) option under the Settings tab on the right sidebar.
You’ll see the footer section appears at the bottom part of the table. You may add plain text to the footer cells or use blocks to add other types of content.
To explain the tutorial, we have added plain text to the footer cells. Thus, you can add footer to your tables in WordPress.
If you want, you can also make your bottom row as footer. Just enable ‘Make Bottom Row Footer‘.
You can also change the footer background color. Just click on the Styles tab (1) and change the Footer Background Color (2).
