Changing the font size in a table can help improve clarity. Some information may need to be presented in a larger font and the rest in a comparatively smaller size. Moreover, increasing the font size helps highlight key data points.
Tafelberg allows for the change of table font sizes both individually and globally. In this documentation post, let’s explore both methods of how to change font size in a table.
Method One: Change the Font Size Individually #
Place your cursor on the cell to select the text for which you want to increase the font size.
Ga naar de Typografie section on the right sidebar. Klik op de dropdown option under size.
A list of various font sizes will open up. Select the size you want. Let’s select the Large size.
You can see the font size has been increased for the selected text.
In the same way, change the font size for the other texts individually you need.
Method Two: Change the Font Size Globally #
If you want to change the size of all the text in each cell of the entire table at once, instead of doing it individually, you can use the global font feature of Tableberg.
Selecteer de volledige tabel door clicking de Tableberg pictogram op de werkbalk. Vervolgens, navigate to de Tabblad Stijlen.
Come to de Global Font Style section by scrolling down the tab. Klik op de dropdown (Default) option under size.
Here again, a list of several font sizes will open up. Select the you need. Let’s select Large.
You’ll see that the font size for the entire table has been changed at once.
Thus, not only can you increase the font size but also change the font and link color globally.
Conclusie #
Changing the font size is a simple, straightforward, but impactful way to improve readability and user experience. This can improve the visual appeal of your data presentation as well.
Flexibility is a breeze in Tableberg. You can do more customizations with the plugin. For example, take a look at how to change the color and radius of individual columns of a table.
