How to use the Paragraph Block in WordPress

Using the paragraph block is the simplest of all the core WordPress blocks. For today’s tutorial, we will not use any third-party block plugin; rather, we will use the core كتلة الفقرة.

Step 1: Add the Paragraph Block

Whenever you open a post or page, you are not required to search and add the paragraph block to add text content. It is in the editor already, and you need to start writing.

Whenever you press the زر الدخول on your keyboard, it is instantly inserted automatically into the editor.

But you can also do it manually. Click the “+” icon (Add Block) (1) to add a new block. Search for “فقرة” (2) and select it (3).

The paragraph block’s toolbar option includes the following options.

  • تحويل: Let’s you Transform your block.
  • Alignment Text: Let’s set the text alignment to left, center, and right.
  • عريض: Let’s bold your selected text portion.
  • مائل: Let’s italicize your selected text portion.
  • وصلة: Let’s set links for your text.
  • More: Includes additional text options.
  • خيارات: Additional Block Editor options.

Step 2: Customize the Paragraph Block

To customize your paragraph block, select the editor’s paragraph. After that, you will see the options to customize it on the right side of the editor.

You can add color to your paragraph’s text and background, modify the typography, adjust dimensions, etc.

The typography option includes font, font size, appearance, line height, letter spacing, decoration, and letter case.

The Dimensions option lets you adjust padding and margin for your text block. The Border option lets you add border and border radius for your text block.
