How to Insert the List Block

Navigate Posts (1) > All Posts (2) and edit the post or page (3) where you want to insert the list block.

Click the “+” icon (Add Block Icon) in the editor (1) and type “List” in the search box (2). Click “List” to insert it into the editor(3).

Get Familiar with the List Block

You can see the following options when you select the parent List block.

  1. Transform Button: It allows you to transform the list block into other blocks, such as paragraph, heading, quote, group, etc.
  2. Unordered Option: This option lets you present data in bullet form.
  3. Ordered List: It lets you create an ordered list with numbers.
  4. Outdent: It lets you outdent your list block.
  5. Options: It has more options for your block and block Editor.
How to use the list block in WordPress

There are also options for every single item on the list.

  1. Move UP/Down: This option is extremely useful when you want any particular list to move up and down.
  2. List Item Outdent: When you don’t want to add the list item to the subcategory, Outdent helps you make that happen.
