How to Make a WordPress Table Sortable

By enabling the Sorting option to a table, you can allow users to rearrange the data in ascending or descending order, based on the data available on rows and columns. Tableberg allows you to make your table both vertically and horizontally sortable.

How to Enable Vertical Sorting #

Select your entire table by clicking the Tableberg icon. Then, go to the Settings tab on the right sidebar.

Scrolling down the tab, come to the [PRO] Sorting section. Toggle on the option Enable Vertical Sorting.

You’ll see the sorting option appear on the top row of the table. By clicking this option, you can now rearrange the table rows.

How to Enable Horizontal Sorting #

Similarly, just toggle on the option Enable Horizontal Sorting. You’ll see the sorting option appear in the left column.

Click the sorting icon. You’ll see the column order is changing.
