You may often want to bring two relevant columns, rows, or cells of a table under the same heading. You can do this easily by merging its particular rows, columns, and cells.
The TableBerg plugin allows you to do this very easily. This post explains how to merge cells in a table.
Step 1: Click on the First Cell That You Want to Merge #
Select the first cell that you want to merge.
Step 2: Hold the Shift Key on Your Keyboard #
Then hold the ‘Shift’ key on your keyboard.
Step 3: Click on the Last Cell That You Want to Merge #
Then click on the last cell that you want to merge.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Edit table’ Icon and Select the Merge Option #
Now hit the Edit table icon on the toolbar and select the Merge option from the list.
The selected cells will be merged in a second. You can see below the texts of the two cells have been merged into a single cell.
Organize and rewrite the texts in the merged cell to make it presentable.
